Mount Aconcagua Normal RouteÂ
Our adventure starts in the province of Mendoza, in the extreme west of the Republic of Argentina, worldwide known for its winemakers, and especially for the soil that allows the Malbec to grow and become one of the finest wines in the world. Mendoza is a perfect oasis at the foot of the Andes, where we can find everything we need for the expedition, including high tech mountain equipment for sale and rent. There is also a very interesting gastronomic circuit and breweries that can be visited during the free time, after complying with the inherent process of obtaining climbing permits. The days that follow are dedicated to the long approach to reach the base camp, where we organize to climb at least one five thousand meters mountain before starting the ascent itself. It is supposed to take no longer than 15 days during the special season that was announced to open at January 1st, 2022. That is why we keep more days for the high altitude camps, just in case of bad weather. Our professional mountain guiding team is used to work there and knows the place very well. Perhaps, no team in the world can guaranty the reaching of any summit, but we offer a fair chance, a high probability that together, we can have a try, and maybe be back with the experience that pushes us forward to the next adventures: Reaching the summit! We have been doing it for more than twenty seasons and we expect to reach the summit once more, this time with you! We also count with very good logistic services that include porters, gourmet meals, beds at base camps, and full radio support from rescue teams and operations staff in the city.
