One of the highest volcanoes in the world, Tupungato offers a challenge for experts. Long approaches and wild nature get us to a glacier ascent of Himalayan proportions, in the middle of the Andes mountain range. A journey carried out with the strong support of our exclusive mountain guiding team, drivers, horse riders and porters.
We depart from Mendoza or Santiago de Chile, from November to March, where we finish last details as climbing permits and gear, to a 4x4 trip until Alfalfal, the place where the first approaching day starts. Tupungato Expedition is one of our finest products, one that requires not only training and compromise, but also good equipment and partnership. With an approximate duration of 14 days, we will be able to identify many of the most famous mountains of the Andes from Tupungato's summit, which overpasses its neighboring peaks in more than one thousand meters.
